Domain Transfer

Hello Sherie,

You have let us know that you would like your domain to be transferred to Diocesan.  With your site including a cluster of parishes, I was wondering if you would like for us to try to purchase a new domain name or just transfer your current domain of https://stjamescatholicparish.org/ to Diocesan?

IF TRANSFERRING YOUR CURRENT DOMAIN NAME:
There are two ways that we can go about doing this:
  1. Provide Diocesan with your domain login credentials and we will initiate the transfer OR
  2. Your current domain owner can initiate the transfer

1. Provide Diocesan with Login
Below are the things we need for the login:
  • Login URL
  • Username/email
  • Password
Once Diocesan has initiated the transfer, you will still need to send Diocesan the Authorization (EPP) code (emailed to domain owner).  If you believe that there will be an issue with this, please let us know. 

2. We Will Initiate Domain Transfer
  1. Unlock your domain 
  2. Send us the Authorization (EPP) Code
  3. Send to email webdepartment@diocesan.com
  4. Diocesan initiates transfer
  5. You confirm the transfer
  6. Transfer complete!

Let us know if you have any questions or are having trouble finding who your current domain owner is. If you decide you want us to search for a new domain name let me know that too. :)

This company may be contacted for domain login/passwords

If you know an email that may have been used (it looks like it was set up when Fr. Chris Rouech was there, maybe that'll help?) they have a place to recover username/password at Lunarpages.  That's what we need to launch the new site and migrate the domain.

I planned to start the transfer process today but it looks like there is a 2-factor login set up on the account, so a code is being emailed to the email on the account.

Things have slowed down now that summer is behind us so I thought I'd give the domain transfer another try.  Do you know if your password for Lunarpages has changed?  I'm no longer able to log in.  I'd love to get this transfer completed in the next week or so if you can help - thank you!

I've been working with Lunarpages the last day or two in order to get the domain transferred prior to launch.

You should have received a copy of an email response from their customer service - they need the information for the account before they'll send us the code we need to complete the transfer.  

Could you make certain you respond to that email with the last 4 digits of the CC#, user ID, and email address, so that we can complete this process?

I did a little research on the company and found they have a reputation for being difficult when it comes to transferring a domain, so I wanted to get an early start since it looks like we may be launching soon.  Thanks so much for your help with this!  Typically it's just a quick log-in-and-get-a-code thing, so having to go through their customer service is rather unique.
