Project Update
Good afternoon everyone,
As we progress with your new website, we would like to give you an update on how the progress is going this week. Here are the three main stages of how your website is progressing.

Design is 100% complete
Build is 50% complete
As we continue progressing with the creation of your site, we are over the allotted budgeted amount of hours. Please keep in mind that some of the changes or requests may have changed the scope of the project.
- The original quoted amount of build and development hours was 22, and currently, we are at 43 hours
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out at any time.
Thank you!

Alan,
That is quite an overage! Can you please itemize the tasks that were added? I didn’t think we made that many requests for changes. The move from single to multi-site was correcting what I thought was an original misunderstanding. We asked for dual access (to parish and school sites) from a single page when the option was first presented at the beginning of the process. Others can correct me if my memory is incorrect. If the overage in hours was related to making that change, I would dispute it.
It would be nice to see something on a screen that shows progress so we can see what is being done.
Thanks.

Hi Tom,
I have not worked with Diocesan beyond a couple of hours in total since we began discussions. The last communication with Danae, who only provided the proposed skeleton for the new site was early this year.
Hope this helps.

Good afternoon Tom,
I understand your frustration about the hours being over the original estimate. In looking through the development task list, there were a lot of little things that needed to happen that added up. Here is a list of all the development that Sam, our developer who is working on your project, did.
Click here to view an itemized list of development.
We can examine these items if need be, but this is the time that Sam has spent on the project, excluding meetings besides one where the focus was development.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks and God bless,
Arthur Richardson
