Project Update

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope all has been well!

As we progress with your new website, we would like to give you an update on how the progress is going this week. Here are the three main stages of how your website is progressing.
  • Design is 100% complete
  • Build is In Queue
In order to continue forward with your project, we need from you:
  • cPanel access to convert your single site to a multisite. If you are having trouble finding where that is in your BlueHost dashboard, here is a link to a BlueHost article that might help. There is also help to reset your password if you need that at all.
If there is something that you need from us, please let us know!

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out at any time.

Thank you!

Alan, can you please resend the link to our final design draft? Thanks.

Good morning everyone,

I wanted to follow up on my conversation with Tom yesterday afternoon.

This morning I spoke with Arthur and brought him up to speed from yesterday.  I wanted to provide details he gave me that helped me understand where we are in the process.

  • Currently, on your BlueHost server, you only have one of the two sites you agreed to in your proposal.
  • Since we need to make the website have 2 functioning websites (church and school), we need to convert the loaded wireframe into a multisite.
  • This can be a fairly easy task once we have access to your cPanel. We could do this during our meeting and show you what we are doing as we go.
  • After we make the conversion from a single website to a multisite we will no longer need access to your cPanel. You would then be free to change your password and we can do the rest of the work through WordPress.

I understand the reasoning behind wanting us to resend the link to the approved design from May 14.  Before we get to that point, I suggested to Tom having a conversation via Zoom.  We value our partnership immensely and want to deliver your amazing website.  I would like to have this conversation over Zoom rather than over email.

Let me know when you would be available to meet.

Thank you!

Alan,

Can I meet with you and Arthur tomorrow at 4pm Central via Zoom to give your team access to the cPanel of our Bluehost site and discuss the details of what’s next? Can you tell me how long it will take for them to load in the dual site framework?

If tomorrow works let me know and I’ll send a Zoom link or you can send your preferred platform link.

Thanks.

Good morning Tom,

I appreciate you getting back and offering to meet via Zoom to go over the project and providing access to the Cpanel.

Unfortunately, at 4 pm Central/5 pm Eastern, I wouldn't have my full team available to meet.  Would you be able to meet this afternoon at 1 pm Central, or Monday afternoon?

Thank you!

Good afternoon Tom!

Here is a follow-up to our meeting.

Here is an article on how to adjust the code to change a site to a multisite.

Let us know if you have any questions! We are still available to meet with you and change the code for you on the newer temporary site once we have the login information for it. However, if you feel confident that you can do it yourselves by following the steps in the article, we can proceed from there as well.

Thanks and God bless,

Good evening!

After our last meeting, the developer discovered that the cPanel account discussed was the correct one after doing some follow-up research after seeing Bluehost for the first time. He is asking if he may progress with the multisite installation by himself. If you are not comfortable with that then we can set up another Zoom call where he can screen share the process.

Please let us know how you would like to continue.

Thanks and God bless,
