Just to reiterate, I will have a meeting with Kathryn on July 12 at 9:00 am EST to discuss the content so far, as well as going over any questions. Additionally, the tentative launch date is Monday, July 16. This launch date will be confirmed in the July 12 meeting.
One thing I forgot to ask about earlier was concerning your domain. Am I correct in assuming that Roger/Scott over at Diocese of Venice IT are in charge of your current domain? Do you plan on using the current institute-dov.org domain or were you going to be changing it to something else?
Just let me know so everything can be ready to go for the launch.

As for creating a password-protected page, yes! On any page you may edit the Visibility and set it to Password Protected, set the password, and Update to save changes.
Also, regarding the search, we will be adding tags to the bottom of all posts so that any visitors will be able to find related posts. I think this will be extremely useful for visitors.

Good afternoon,
I've put in the Media Categories (works as folders) so that any time you upload an file, you can assign it to a certain category. You can then filter by categories when looking at the Library.
Also, for the EventOn plugin, I have installed the plugin so that you may begin adding events, but it is not activated/usable on the viewing side of the website.
In order to activate the Eventon plugin, we will actually need you to create your own account and purchase the EventOn login. That way, if you ever need support, you have your own login and 6 month support.

Once you have purchased EventOn, please give us the account login information and we can activate EventOn on your website. If necessary, I can do a quick tutorial on how to add everything you need for your events.

To change the homepage featured video, you can make changes to the post titled "Who We Are." This post has the ability to add a video in the section titled "Featured Media" which will then display on the homepage
As for the page title over the image, we can most definitely remove that, but if we do, on the pages such as Graduate Studies you will need to remember to write what the page title is. Otherwise, visitors may not know if they clicked on the right page. So for the Graduate Studies page, you will need to remember to write "Graduate Studies" instead of/in addition to "Welcome".
If you would like us to remove the page title, we most certainly can. I just want to make sure you are aware of the confusion it would cause if the page title were not somewhere on the page.

As we're working on our website content, we're realizing that we need to have the "About<http://saintmarkinstitute.diocesanweb.com/about/>" page revamped. David would like to have the About link (upper right) turned into a drop-down menu. Within that drop-down menu, he would like to have links to 4 pages:
* Mission
* History
* Faculty & Staff
* Contact Us
As it stands now for the Faculty & Staff portion, it appears the short code for this page has some issues. I've taken screen prints to show you.
About page formating1- this formatting is off. The staff names appear twice in two different sizes, there's too much white space in between the names and titles. There's not enough space between the email and the next staff member's name/title (i.e. glasow@institute-dov.org<mailto:glasow@institute-dov.org> is right above Kathryn DeNinno: Registrar/IT Administrator. I had no "insert media" option to add a photo on this front About page. I was able to add it using html coding, but the positioning is off.
About page formating2- When you go to the actual staff member page, the positioning is off there as well. The text and image is all the way to the left and there's no spacing between what is put in the text box and the bottom banner.
About page formating3- This is just to show you my attempts to add social media and an image to my profile.
What we'd like to see for the Faculty & Staff home page is more along the lines of the Faculty & Design idea image I'm attaching to this email.

As we're working on our website content, we're realizing that we need to have the "About<http://saintmarkinstitute.diocesanweb.com/about/>" page revamped. David would like to have the About link (upper right) turned into a drop-down menu. Within that drop-down menu, he would like to have links to 4 pages:
* Mission
* History
* Faculty & Staff
* Contact Us
As it stands now for the Faculty & Staff portion, it appears the short code for this page has some issues. I've taken screen prints to show you.
About page formating1- this formatting is off. The staff names appear twice in two different sizes, there's too much white space in between the names and titles. There's not enough space between the email and the next staff member's name/title (i.e. glasow@institute-dov.org<mailto:glasow@institute-dov.org> is right above Kathryn DeNinno: Registrar/IT Administrator. I had no "insert media" option to add a photo on this front About page. I was able to add it using html coding, but the positioning is off.
About page formating2- When you go to the actual staff member page, the positioning is off there as well. The text and image is all the way to the left and there's no spacing between what is put in the text box and the bottom banner.
About page formating3- This is just to show you my attempts to add social media and an image to my profile.
What we'd like to see for the Faculty & Staff home page is more along the lines of the Faculty & Design idea image I'm attaching to this email.
* Picture on the left (standardized frame used for all)
* Name
* Hyperlinked to take viewer to the individual staff member page, where we'd have a bio and social media details listed.
* Title
* Phone

The About page may be turned into a dropdown menu item at any time. Simply go to the editing side and select Appearance > Menus. You can then add the newly created Mission, History, Faculty & Staff, and Contact Us pages to the menu, under About.
As for the Staff/Faculty page, we can fix that. It is a matter of changing the display styles. I have added it to the to-do list.
For the member's image, it should go in the Staff Photo area on the left side of the page.
I will let you know when we have made those changes,

I’m attempting to list an event daily from September 4- Oct. 26. I’ve got the event set to “Event Repeat Type: daily” but it’s only listing on 2 days of each month. Can you check and tell me what I’m doing wrong? 😊

It looks like the event is only displaying 1 repeat. That is, it is displaying the event, then displaying it one more time right after. So the event is still every day until October 26, it just only displays twice:
If you would like the event to display on all dates between the first and last day of the event, use this website to figure out how many times it needs to repeat (https://planetcalc.com/274/). I have added 52 to The Creed event so that it will display all 52 days.
