Institute for Catholic Studies - Arcadia, FL

Development Site

Hello David,

Just wanted to touch base and let you know that I've got the development site up. You can visit the site at http://saintmarkinstitute.diocesanweb.com/ . Bear in mind that the site is still being built and the pages will look as shown in the mockups when complete. As for now i've thrown in some dummy content for the sake of development so disregard any photos or text. All the pages have the same banner photo right now, but the backend allows this to be changed for each individual page.

Hope you have a great weekend,

Michael

Thanks Michael. I will take a look. Any chance we can have a phone conversation on Tuesday afternoon and touch base on it?

Thanks

Thanks Michael,

I am sorry I did not call yesterday, though I appreciate you being available. I saw the mock up page.

We can probably do this via email. Just a couple of quick questions:

1 When is your estimated end date? When can we post the page?

2 We will be linking several pdfs and forms to the page (sign up forms and info for students). Is that data saved as part of the page, or do we link the pages to a location where we keep track of the various forms and pdfs? What do you recommend?

3 Also, quick question, what font are you guys using? For branding purposes we may look at changing our letterhead to match what you are doing.

Thanks

1. It's hard to give an absolute end date, simply because certain aspects of the build require more intensive debugging due to the complex nature of PHP. However, the homepage will likely be done by the end of the week.

2. Wordpress has a built in "media library" wherein you are able to upload and store pdf documents and other media types. The website will serve the documents from this library.

3. The sans-serif font we are using is called Open Sans.
