Current Project Timeline
Hello Amy,
As we discussed over the phone, I have made a project timeline that gives both you and your committee a more defined idea of the due dates that will keep this project on track for a mid-December launch.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello Amy,
I wanted to update you on the status of our initial timeline. I know we had discussed design approval for all the designs to be approved by October 2 to be on schedule for a December 18 launch, but this is no longer a realistic goal.
Still, once you have approved the design, his is the new timeline:
- Design Approval
- 3-5 Weeks until Development Begins
(dependent on the number of other projects in our development queue) - 2-3 Weeks Until Development Link & Schedule Training
- 0-2 Weeks Until Training
(depending on your availability) - 2-?? Weeks Until Launch
(depending on your comfortability with editing)
We may be able to push the website through the queue a bit quicker, since you lose your current website December 24, but as the weeks pass, this becomes less likely, since it will take a bare minimum of 6 weeks. In order to meet your December deadline, we would need the design approval by October 26 at the latest.
Let me know if you have any questions,

?Veronica,
When would be a good time to discuss the below timeline on the phone? I called Tues, and you were out of the office so I spoke with Sam, in which he did not seem concerned about our deadline.
?I am however, a bit concerned. I have discussed with over the past 3-4 weeks with Sam that we were behind schedule, he has assured me we were still okay. This lead me to believe that we would still be starting development in Nov., not Dec. as you have it mapped out below.
We are waiting on proofs from Sam, and have been waiting for a couple weeks. I don't say that for any reason other than, I don't feel having missed the original deadlines proposed was under our control. We cannot approve something we haven't seen.
I am hoping we can find a happy compromise in moving our project along.
I would like to discuss over the phone to make sure we are on the same page moving forward.
Thanks,
Amy Lesko

Good morning Amy,
I am not available for a phone call today, but I do want to reassure you that we will be able to complete your website on time.
I talked with both Sam and the developers concerning your timeline and set the precedent for your website.
I know that Sam has been working with a very large amount of clients in the last couple of months, as well as pre-scheduled vacation time. To give our clients the attention that is both needed and deserved, we agreed that he would be focusing exclusively on a small number of projects (yours included).
Additionally, when I talked to the developers we decided that the development queue time will be considerably less. We are now thinking it will probably be about 1-1.5 weeks before development, instead of the 3-5 week range that we were previous looking at. That means that we will begin development in November.
This should give Sam ample time to create and edit your mockups, as well as giving you ample time to review and approve them.
If you have any other concerns, please let me know.

Veronica,
Thank you for the email last week confirming we will still meet our deadline. I just spoke with Sam earlier, and thought maybe it would be good to see if you had a better idea of when content would need to given to development? He said because we aren't there yet, it was hard to say, but was wondering if you may have a better idea? The web team here is curious to know when they need to have it buttoned up. ( I think some of them, thought they were entering it all in)
Thanks,
Amy Lesko

If your website is going to have all new content, and it is in a word document of some kind, they can begin sending it to me so that it is all ready for me to move once the website is ready to be built.
As far as the content deadline, I think the sooner, the better. I mean we plan on having the website ready for you to begin editing by the beginning of December, but if it is easier for me to begin putting content in for you before December, please feel free to send it my way!
I just set up a Dropbox folder for you to begin uploading files. I have created a School and Parish folder to begin with, but feel free to add folders from there.
Thank you,
