Second Training & Launch Date
Good morning,
I pray everyone's holiday was blessed with plenty of family and joy.
As we enter 2020, I wanted to see if there was any progress on the website or if you had any more questions. I know that we have not had our second training session yet or scheduled a tentative launch date. If you are stuck with something or need to go over anything in detail, we are ready to schedule a training session when you are.
Let me know if you had a date in mind for either a training or launch, and we can go from there!

Hi Veronica,
Thanks so much for checking in! We were making great progress before the holidays toward a launch in January. However, since then we have had some staff changes that have changed our capacity to dedicate as much time as I was. Thanks for being patient! I will circle back with you early next week to discuss a training date and some other things!

Thanks so much for your patience during our transition. We have gotten back up to full capacity for our staff so I am shifting back to the website so we can hopefully get this all wrapped up. I had a list of items I needed to take care of as I was going through so I am going to start working through that. Once we have done that we could set up our second training and a launch date. Does that sound okay to you?
Also, could you please remove Sara (Birney) Conflitti as a user for the new site and add Beth Bott. Beth's email address is bbott@hsparish.org (mailto:bbott@hsparish.org).
Finally, do you have any thoughts on launching the site during Lent? We have so many different things going on and I don't want people to get frustrated if they come to our site and can't find what they need because it is all new, but wasn't sure if you had any thoughts on this.

Good morning Vicki,
I'm glad y'all are back to full staff. I know how difficult it can be to move things forward when you're juggling a lot of plates at a parish.
I have removed Sara from the site, but had a question concerning Beth Bott's new user account. Would you like her to be on only the school or only the parish site, or both? Would you like her to have the same level of access as you have?
As for launching during Lent, I think it can be the perfect time to launch. People will already be navigating to the site for Mass/Confessions/Stations of the Cross times and the new website has made it even easier to find since it is the 3rd thing on your site, as well as being in the same place as it currently is on the menu. I would definitely suggest adding any Lenten schedules to the Mass Schedule (see here) page since that is statistically your 3rd most popular page of all time.
Another thing parishes will do is have separate page with all Lent information. Things like parish missions, Holy Week Mass Schedule, adoration, stations of the cross, what Lent is/resources, and any other information on Lenten events.
