Good afternoon Andrea,
Thank you for your patience as I worked to finalize the proposal for the new parish website.
During the Deep Dive conversation, it was determined the St Alphonsus Hybrid will be the foundation for your new website. After we apply your branding, fonts and colors, and content you will have a unique website that showcases Holy Spirit.

During the Deep Dive conversation, it was determined the St Alphonsus Hybrid will be the foundation for your new website. After we apply your branding, fonts and colors, and content you will have a unique website that showcases Holy Spirit.
During the Deep Dive, we discussed having the Ministry layout from the St Celine Hybrid modified into the St Alphonsus Hybrid. After discussions with our developer, we determined the St Alphonsus Hybrid could support the ministry functionality. There will be a fair amount of development work to make this happen, and I have included that in the proposal for you.

We are moving slow, but we are moving forward with our discussions about your proposal. Quick question, can you send me an example page of the St. Celine Ministry layout? I know we looked at on during our call, but I can’t find an example on your site. I may be overlooking it.

Below is a link to the ministry page for the Celine Hybrid website. You will see there are 2 design options for this section. The first is more jump off boxes to "funnel" the user to an individual ministry. The option below that uses a desgin similar to the various streaming services. The ministries in this style are organized into categories and the user can scroll through the categories and also scroll down the page to the category they might be looking for.

Hi Alan,
Thanks for checking in! Things are moving slow over here, but I think I am getting some momentum now. One question that came up today is if we could get a link to a live website using the template that we want to us, even better if I can get one for the Ministries’ page template too. The consensus is that people want a chance to click around on different pages. Is that possible?
We have a staff meeting tomorrow, and I plan to present to the group and hopefully get the ball rolling.

I am happy to say that our pastor has given us the OK on the new website. We want to proceed with the St. Alphonsus template the St. Celine ministry page customization.
What are the next steps in regard to making this official?
Also, I would imagine the sitemap is the next step – am I correct on that and if so, what is the best practice for moving forward with that? We have a staff meeting this Tuesday where I plan to ask the different directors to let us know what sections that need to bring over to the new website. I have some rough ideas, and I can begin working on a bit of an outline if you want. If you prefer to go about it differently, please let me know.

You are correct, my content team would be sending a proposed sitemap. We will go through your website to come up with a proposed sitemap based on our experiences organizing content over the years. You are still able to make adjustments so everything aligns with your mission.

We do not want to use the same main menu tabs as our current site uses (i.e. Liturgy & Prayer, Formation, Evangelization, Community Building, and Social Ministry). Things that are important and we want to call out either in the main menu tabs or the 4 boxes below the main photo, or somewhere obvious on the homepage would include things like Mass Times, Online Giving, Becoming a Member, Ministries, Contact Info, Bulletin, Flocknote Signup, Calendar/Events.
