Holy Spirit - Crown Point / Hebron, IN

Fr. Tom Mischler approved this on .

Site Approval

For this approval we are looking to move into development which would mean starting the build in Wordpress, everything would turn live so you would be able to start seeing how the actions (tabbed mass times and contact info, ect.) will actually work.

Any small changes that you want can be updated in the development phase.
With the approval of the homepage we will keep all the Colors, logos, icons and things in place as are.

Unless there is anything major (color, logo, icons) you want to see before development, then let me know about those, and I can make those changes.

Thanks,

Samuel Lanning

Hi Sam,

Just left you a voice mail. Guess it might have been better here.

Generally, I like the whole design. My question is about the appearance of the page vs the feeling we are 2 parishes equally sharing the same site. How easy from an appearance standpoint will it be to navigate between the 2 parishes?

On the Map & Comment page there current setup looks sharp but eliminates St. Helen’s from obvious view. How will the people of St Helen’s understand they can easily access a similar page for their parish?

Just wondering, they get a little feverous that Holy Spirit will simply swallow them up and I’m trying to avoid that impression.

Thanks,

Fr. Tom

Shall I approve the previous email with the changes you just made or wait and have you resubmit the approval with those adjustments?

Me Too! It has been wonderful working with Diocesan and with you in particular. I truly feel we are starting something of great value, kind of like the pearl of great worth in Matthew’s gospel.

Fr. Tom

P.S. I do know that pearl really refers to the Kingdom of God and our work pales compared with that but this has still been a powerful experience.

Thank you Fr. Tom, I really appreciate that, it has been wonderful working with you as well, I'm sure you will enjoy working with our developers just as much!

Samuel
Fr. said YES and added:
The color combos are very good. The layout is wonderful. The interaction between the two parish sites is positive and supportive. The additions to the Map/Comment page are especially important and you worked out a great solution. I'm ecstatic with whole project and  yes, I can't wait to see our new web page in operational mode.

For the email link for the Comment Page could I suggest: CHoftheHS@gmail.com
or would it be better to link directly to the domain name? CHoftheHP@_________?

Meanwhile, good work, Merry Christmas and Peace to All of good will,

Fr Tom
