Deep Dive Follow up

Good afternoon Alicia and Rachel,

Thank you for taking the time to speak with my team and me today.

I wanted to send you the link we shared so you can share it with your principal and pastor.  If there are any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to me.  As my team did a wrap-up of our conversation, I did have a couple of questions that will be very important to the creation of a proposal.  The link and my questions are below.

https://xd.adobe.com/view/6afbd846-34d1-4869-9c78-00cf2283dab7-3fa8/?fullscreen

1) When it comes to the teacher/parent page.  I understand there will be a separate place for parents to go so they can review grades.  For this teacher/parent page, could you provide some of the specifics of this page?

2) How did you want to handle the content on your parish and school websites?  We could:
  • Bring all of the content over to the new site (the parish has a large amount that could lead to an expensive process)
  • Create a couple of pages, and then you bring the rest of your content (current or new) into the websites
Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Hello Alan,

Thank you for sending this. I was able to take a brief look at this today, but I will not even present this to our Pastor until late next week, as I mentioned. I really like it.

To answer your question, I think from the Church side we will choose to migrate our content when the pages have been created and we have been trained.

Hello Alan,

Thank you for being so patient with us while we got through our Easter madness!

We all really like the website and would like to proceed. Please let us know the next steps.

Good afternoon everyone,

I am glad the design is well liked by both the school and the parish.

In order to make sure I have all of the necessary information for an accurate proposal, I have a couple of questions:

1) When it comes to the teacher/parent page.  I understand there will be a separate place for parents to go so they can review grades.  For this teacher/parent page, could you provide some of the specifics of this page?

2) How did you want to handle the content on your parish and school websites?  We could:
  • Bring all of the content over to the new site (the parish has a large amount that could lead to an expensive process)
  • Create a couple of pages, and then you bring the rest of your content (current or new) into the websites
Once I have this information, I will be able to send off a proposal for you.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Good morning,

I am including the people at the school on this email so that they can reply to the question about the teacher pages.

For the Church:
We will migrate our content once you have created a few pages and trained us.

Danny and Rachel at the school will be able to answer your content migration questions for the school.

Good morning Danny and Rachel,

I hope everything is going well.

It has been a few weeks since our Deep Dive conversation, and I had a couple of questions that would let me finalize the proposals for the new parish and school websites.  As a refresher, I am including the questions below:

1) When it comes to the teacher/parent page.  I understand there will be a separate place for parents to go so they can review grades.  For this teacher/parent page, could you provide some of the specifics of this page?

2) How did you want to handle the content on the school websites?  We could:
  • Bring all of the content over to the new site (the parish has a large amount that could lead to an expensive process)
  • Create a couple of pages, and then you bring the rest of your content (current or new) into the websites
Let me know your thoughts and any questions.

Thank you!

Hi Alan,

Just checking in on progress on the proposal.

I will be out of office on Thursday May 13, and Friday May 14, 2021. I hope to be back by Monday May 17, 2021.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Alicia and Rachel,

I did not receive the details for the school.

Unfortunately, attachments don't come through our Basecamp system.  Would you be able to either copy and paste the school information?  Or you can send them to my personal email asnodgrass@diocesan.com  Once I receive the school details, I will be able to quickly send out a proposal.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Hi Alan,
See below....

This is not critical to do at this time. Would it be possible to create these pages later? The parent would be password or secure site for us to post pictures, calendars of events, information...etc
The teacher pages would be similar, a place where we can post documentation or information that is only for teachers and staff.

2) How did you want to handle the content on the school websites? We could:
* Bring all of the content over to the new site (the parish has a large amount that could lead to an expensive process)
* Create a couple of pages, and then you bring the rest of your content (current or new) into the websites

As for the information, we have discussed this issue and would like to start the new website with fresh information and NOT bring anything over. We want to insure that old or outdated data is carried over.

Thank you,
Danny & Rachel
