New Website colors/fonts
Hello Grace,
My name is Blake Stapleton, and I am the web designer at Diocesan that will be working with you on your new web project.
I wanted to reach out to you to get your feedback about fonts and colors for the new website. Below is a screenshot of what a page on the new website could look like using your current colors and fonts. On your current site, you use Open Sans and Lato for fonts, we recommend sticking with these. (The content on this image can change when we actually build the website, this is just to focus on the colors and fonts.)
We also wondered if you could tell us the font your logo was using?

Hi Blake, we are loving the colors!
Regarding the font, yes please stick with the others you mentioned for the body/text.
Regarding our logo, we can't seem to find an official brand packet but we have attached our letterhead if that helps. I wish it was an actual watermark but this is what we have to work with.
We can't seem to match the font, but if you need to change it we like "Geizer" and "Reba".

Thanks for the information about your logo. Other than the letterhead you already sent, do you have any other types of files of your logo that you can send on to us? For example JPEG or PNG or .AI files.

I have been scouring our database and I can't seem to find a PNG anywhere. I know it's problematic, but I will keep looking.
2 things to address for now on the development site,
1) right now there's an "event" planning form. While we host specific diocesan/other events, we don't usually advertise it in that way for insurance purposes. Could you switch it over to only weddings for now?
2) the calendar is being populated from an obsolete email address. We are in the process of figuring out how to change over to a different one, how will that work for future? Is it simply changed? Let me know.

Thank you for looking for the logo!
1) I have made it into just a schedule a wedding form and removed the event part of it.
2) As long as the next calendar is through a Google Account/Google Calendar then it will be an incredibly easy fix. We will just need it to be publicly accessible and then just need the Calendar ID for the new calendar and I can swap out the Calendar IDs and the site's calendar will update within a couple of hours if not sooner.

The staff is looking at scheduling the first training on June 9th or 16th. Whatever time works should be fine@
For now, if you could also include the Parish Manager, Tim Westfall, in all correspondence - he will be the main contact point for next week until Alicia arrives. His email is admin@rosarycathedral.org (mailto:admin@rosarycathedral.org).

RGB values:
BLUE
R=44
G=62
B=119
GOLD/YELLOW
R=211
G=151
B=13
And the name of the font used for Rosary Cathedral text is: Paternoster AH. See zip file attached.

Good Morning Alicia,
I have changed the gold color and the purple (Homepage Colorful Tiles 3 and 4 respectively) to match those colors that you sent me. Adding that font as the headings would slow page load speeds quite a bit because it has to download the font onto the user's device. We can add it if you would like, but I just want to double-check to see if you want the page load speed to take that hit.
