Slider Completion
Good morning Nichol,
Our developer has completed the development of the new homepage Daily Readings slider. Please keep in mind that you may have to hard refresh to update the homepage.
https://stgg.diocesanweb.org/
On the front end, it will look the same as the rest of them, but on the backend, you will find that you are able to set your designated image for each day of the week. This way, if you are wanting to schedule a specific image to correspond with the reading, you will be able to.
We will go over this again during your first training session. Please let me know if you have a date in mind for this,

Hi Nichol,
Slider
The slider does not rotate by number of images, but instead matches up the day of the week to the image. Are you wanting just a number of images instead? That shouldn't be a big issue at all, just updating what images are called when.
Mobile Responsiveness
As for mobile responsiveness, we still have some items left. I can have the developer continue but strongly caution against this.
Our original quote only included one round of mobile responsiveness, so which means that if we go through mobile responsiveness, then during training you find something that needs updating, it means our developers will need to do another round of mobile responsiveness.
For this reason, I highly suggest waiting until after the first training session for our developer to continue with mobile responsiveness.
Image Scale
I'm so sorry about that. I could have sworn that I checked to make sure they were the same height before letting you know it was updated, but I see now that it is, in fact, shorter than the posts. We can update the 3 daily items to match the posts, but this will not solve the featured image cropping issue that we see on Saint of the Day.
An option is to make these three (and all the posts) images taller, but the main issue here is that the Saint of the Day feed comes in with portrait images, where as the image sizings are all landscape.
Drop Shadow Effect
All of the posts have the same drop shadow effect of
0.2 (current intensity)
0.3
0.4
I am headed out of the office (wanted to make sure I sent this before I left) but I look forward to reading your response on Monday.
Let me know if there's anything else you see,

Good afternoon Nichol,
I just wanted to check in and see if you had made a decision, had questions, or if you were ready to schedule your first training session.
Below is a copy of the message sent last month.
Let me know if you have any choices or questions,

Thank you for checking in. Due to the season, I probably won’t be able to address the new website until after Easter. I’m so sorry, I know you’re ready for the training. I’ve looked briefly at things and they look good.
Thank you for your patience. I’m grateful for you.
Nichol
Have a blessed Lent, Nichol!
