G Suite Process
Good afternoon Stephanie,
As a part of your website package, you requested Diocesan set up G Suite for you.
To begin this, there are a couple of things that we need before creating your new G Suite:
- St Frances Xavier Cabrini's Tax EIN - FEDERAL ONLY
- St Frances Xavier Cabrini's 501(c)(3) Group Exemption Letter - FEDERAL ONLY
- The IRS Determination letter to the USCCB referencing the group exemption
- The cover page of the Official Catholic Directory
- The page in the directory on which St Frances Xavier Cabrini appears.
- List of Accounts to be Moved/Created (please complete and return attached spreadsheet)

Good Afternoon Stephanie,
For the G Suite/ Google Workspace to be setup, as well as, for launch, we will need access to Domain that is currently through Ionos. Mary will be sending out an email about the domain transfer too shortly, if not already.
We will wait until after the launch to transfer the domain and once the domain is transferred, we will start the Google Workspace process since otherwise the domain can get messed up and that is not something we want to happen with the new site live. This way everything is easier and much less of a chance for something to go down.

A Domain Name Server record must be created. It’s called an SPF record. Someone with access to your Domain Registrar (Tucows, Go Daddy, etc.) would have to log in, create or edit one and place the following in the SPF record: include: spf.massintentions.com (http://spf.massintentions.com/) ~all
After that has been completed, log into your MIO account, go to settings, at the top, click on “email settings”.
Select “SPF record” a set of fields will appear. Copy and paste the SPF record that was created. Then enter a valid email address of your parish that you would want the parishioners seeing as being the sender from your parish.

The SPF record to add I think would be "v=spf1 mx include:spf.massintentions.com ~all" (no quotes). I am not 100% sure on any of this since we have not done this before to my knowledge. In the image below, the SPF record is in the green block.
