Thanks Veronica, we are reviewing Giving options.

I started uploading some additions and changes to website to our upload folder. I have a document that I will upload with some other files later this morning. Wait to make any changes because this summary document will explain all.

Hopefully they will be fixing my internet before 10:00 otherwise I will get these uploaded at the library before noon.

Hello Irene,


Cody and I went through your Changes & Questions for New Website document and while we did add a couple of hours in as a buffer to content migration, we have nearly met the total hours designated for content migration. Making all of the changes you had in your document would most certainly put us over the designated 19 hours originally quoted. 
Almost all of the changes are items that can be edited by you or someone else on staff after the training session. In fact, I'd like to go through some of these items during the training session as practical training. 
If you'd prefer Diocesan to make the changes, I can put together a quote for Cody and me to make these updates to the content.

Hi Veronica

Some of our staff suggested PayPal for a donation button option for website.

I have looked at what a person sees when they donate through Paypal with a website donate button. Would our website and myParish app be compatible with PayPal?

Right now we are leaning toward SimpleGive. I see they offer a MinistryOne Church App - which we wouldn't need, but with SimpleGive wouldn't need that extra $39/month MinistryOne app to receive donations with our myParish app?

A PayPal button would work on the website, as it essentially just links to a website. The same would apply for the myParish App, although you'll probably want to check with them to be sure (myparishappsupport@diocesan.com).

For Simple Give, I don't believe you have to purchase the MinistryOne Church App. It is an offered add-on to their giving services.
For the online giving to work on your website, you will simply need an online giving page/site. Then, on your new website, we will link to this online giving page/site that they provide.

This online giving page/site seems to be a part of the default package (see image below from their features page), but I would ask them just to be sure.
