Hi Violet,

I have attached the quote with each section broke down into the items that
would need to be done. Most of these are broken down so that all pieces
(numbered items) are required to complete the main task. However, if there
is anything you wish to remove, please let me know and I can make sure it's
possible to remove and requote!

With the Google API, I am fairly confident that it can get us to ~90% of
your flat design with the intended functionality but there are going to be
things that we will need to compromise on with any API we use since they
will all have their limitations.

While I know you are wanting to create the interactive pie chart there is
the alternative of displaying the image (same as homepage) on the Via Vita
landing page and your content (on left or right of the image) provides all
the information and links needed. This option (no interactivity other than
hover of the whole pie) would be a total of 3 hours, versus the 20-24 hours
noted to create the specialized pie and go through rebuilding and testing
for mobile.

Hello,

While I don't think we are able to add the bevel with the Google API we are
using, we should be able to make the pie slice border thicker. However,
this may make the entire slice border thicker, not just around the outside.

Unfortunately, with so much of this design and functionality being
something that we have not worked with before, it is going to be a lot of
testing and trying to get as close as possible. Even with what we have done
so far, it may be something that we need to start over and recreate using a
different API or code set.

That being said, I can add the number of hours for creation, testing, and a
possible re-creation that will account for everything to the quote, or I
can quote the item if we were moving forward with the Google API and then
send another quote if this version ends up not working out.

Let me know which you would prefer and I can send it over right away.

The center image we will be able to incorporate the image over the top but
the pie builder we are using does not allow for an image in the background,
only the front.

Kyle and I spent Friday afternoon working on it and below is a screenshot
of what we had put together so far.

Hi Violet,

I think we've found a solution that will work for the liturgical pie!
The only thing we may not be able to do is put the blue 12-month wheel
behind the image. If we are wanting to add this blue circle with the months
behind the interactive liturgical pie, we may need to rethink what we had
hoped to use to build it, since elements behind it (lined up and resizing
responsively) is not something we will be able to do.

My question for you/your team is how important is this to the interactive
pie?

We have completed the quote for all other items other than the Via Vita
items.

For these items, we have many conflicting notes so I am hoping that we can

Hello again!

One last email to show the example of the three options for the
functionality and content of the Via Vita liturgical pie page.

*Option 1 - Click Goes to Page*

The pie would exist on a page by itself. When someone clicks on a slice
(liturgical season), it will go straight to whatever page you have set that
slice to go to.

Homepage > Via Vita > Liturgical Season Info

*Option 2 - Click Changes Content*

Similar to the video attached, as you click each section of the pie, the
content below the pie changes without having to reload the page.

This makes it easier for users to see everything on a single page rather
than having to click from the Homepage > Via Vita > Liturgical Season. It
would just be Homepage > Via Vita (with liturgical season info already
displayed).

*Option 3 - Click Changes Content (short w/ button)*

This option is the same as option #2 but in your content (with Gutenberg)
you can add a short description and a button that links off to a full page
of content (so your pages aren't getting too long).
