Design Approval
Hi Mary,
I'm so excited you like the design and are ready to give approval. It has been so great working with you on this project and we are excited to be moving onto the next phase of the process soon.
In this email I have attached the website proof. If you could review these items and you are ready to give the official approval, please click the "Yes" button on this email.
Please keep in mind that any design changes or development/functionality changes after official approval may affect the quoted cost.
Once you approve this email, our content team will be contacting you in the next few weeks to start working on the website migration and the overall organization of the website. Giving approval will also move your project into our development queue.
Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to explain any of the designs.
Thank you,
Danae Chudy

Danae (and Arthur),
For clarification:
* The “Via Vita” text MUST BE a graphic image to match our logo – can you pop in the jpg Violet sent so that there is no confusion about this? Again, we would like TWO images in that first quarter panel – Via Vita and then the pie-chart/liturgical wheel
* The green buttons on the right quarter panel MUST HAVE a shadow on them … can you show that on this mockup
Once those are clearly shown, we can approve.
THANKS!
Blessings,
Mary G.

Danae,
Because we want to avoid confusion when the developer/coder begins his work, please make the following visual changes:
* Is it possible to bump the “bell” (alert button) over a couple of pixels, with a white border, to imitate the “media gallery” floater? It is our understanding that the bell can’t sit in a circle, but at least if it has burgundy all around with a thin white border, it will complement the “media gallery” button
* The line-spacing for the 4 columns at the bottom (office hours, etc) are inconsistent. Can you ensure that all are the same line depth? We’re assuming that we can change the fax number to have – not . ?
* Why is “Quick Links” so much heavier than the Cinzel Decorative everywhere else? In the mock-up, it was less heavy (see attached).

Mary G.

Hi Mary,
Here are the answers to your questions. Let me know if you have any more questions!

I wouldn't recommend changing the position of the bell because it'll get in the way of your icon bar and make it harder to read the content displayed on the website. With web design you need to remember that items are variable and in different screen sizes it'll get in the way. I did add a white border to it. Let me know if that'll be alright.

It's up to you what you have in the footer. If you don't want it vary in line height then you'll have to make sure the content is the same amount of characters.
* Why is “Quick Links” so much heavier than the Cinzel Decorative everywhere else? In the mock-up, it was less heavy (see attached).
You asked for it to be bold. Let me know if you'd like this changed back.
Thank you,
Danae Chudy

Dear Danae,
Thanks for getting back with me.
Understood re: the “bell” … thank you for putting the white border around it.
So, if I understand you correctly about the footer area, to ensure consistency, we would need to have the same number of characters in each of the 4 “columns” to ensure correct spacing. Basically, this is something we will need to fix then? It won’t be done on the coding side?
Can you un-bold the “Quick Links” on the mock up so that we can see that?
Blessings,
Mary G.

Danae,
Please move the “bell” in off the left margin the same distance (2-3 pixels) the “media gallery” is off the right margin. Since it is a floater, we understand it may occasionally bump onto other icons but this is fine. Further, we would like it a circle rather than a square – you didn’t say whether this was possible?

Further, is it possible to remove the padding on the Mass Times column to make the white line separators the same distance across?

Hi Mary,
1. I made the bell icon a circle. I believe we can do that.
2. Yes, it'll be up to you to control the content and the number of characters you put in the footer. Also, the spacing between the footer items/lines are the same.
3. I reverted the "Quick Links" back to regular instead of bold.
Thank you,
Danae Chudy
