I had one of our developers look at the middle banner that you were talking about and they are thinking that the image was hardcoded in, because they are not finding any traces of a plugin or shortcode-type of text. 
Is this something that Scott or your previous site manager would have done?

Found that there was something on the ‘dashboard’ for updating this middle section. I’m not sure how those ‘editors’ get added to the dashboard, but it was way down and I hadn’t seen it.

Oh, interesting.
The closest thing our developer could find was under the Gallery plugin, but the images didn't match up.

Regardless, I am glad you were able to find it. 
I saw that the 2018 Catholic Faith Appeal banner is now up. Does that mean that the 2018 CFA cover is completed? I have it on my to-do list to put the new image on the Giving page.
