Something to keep in mind is that the site is not quite completed yet, with the largest thing being mobile responsiveness. That said, it is best to look at the development site on a desktop computer, rather than a laptop or smaller screen. Mobile development/responsiveness is something that the developer completes after the training so that he can update any changes along with the original development!

There are some other big items that we are still working on, such as:

Other than that, if you see anything that alarms you (design or functionality), please let me know and we can address your concerns.

Good Morning Meegan and Michelle,

We have added the video option with making the entire video a link on the Homepage. The Link Text for the Link selector doesn't show anywhere, so don't worry about that. The video will support MP4 and WEBM file types. If your video is not in one of those formats, there are online converters if need be. You can check out this one and do the video converting option.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hello –
Meegan and I have some additional questions:

* Breadcrumbs – There are three tabs on our
* Main Menu that do not have landing pages (About Us, Giving and Who We Serve). We noticed when you click on any of the child pages (ie: About Us > Mission) the breadcrumb for About Us is clickable. Is there any way to make that an unclickable breadcrumb link for those specific pages?

* Top Menu – on the mobile version, you cannot see the top menu at all.

* Indent – We have bulleted lists on multiple pages and it will not allow for the text to be indented, even though a tab button appears in the text editor.

* Text wrapping – The text is not wrapping the photos correctly. We would like to avoid using the Media & Text block because it bumps the text too far into the page.

Backend:

The backend displays how we want it to look:

Preview Mode:

Is there any way to get rid of the space? The preview bumps the Benefits heading too far down -

* Home page – the Courageously Living the Gospel learn more button does not link anywhere

* Tracking analytics – Is there a way for us to track the traffic of a page?

* Browsers – I’ve been working in Google Chrome and have not noticed formatting issues, however, Safari and Firefox are not displaying the home page correctly:

INCORRECT

Firefox

CORRECT

Hello Michelle,

I will go ahead and check on those items and make to-dos for the developer where necessary.

Thank you,

Hello Michelle,

  • Breadcrumbs - I am checking with the developer to see if this is possible, but my guess would be that this is not possible right now.
  • Top Menu - I have made a to-do for the developer to add this.
  • Indented Lists- I am not sure why it is not indenting, because I made a test page and it does it on the frontend and the backend, see the page here
  • Text-wrapping - I have made a to-do
  • Courageously Living the Gospel - Made to-do to switch it to go to the DOSP page for it.
  • Tracking Analytics - Once the site launches, we will enable a statistics module that will let you see the stats for the site and pages.
  • For the browser differences, is that just a difference with the featured button's text, one-line vs two-line? I am unable to see how it is viewed on Safari but I am having someone else on the team check that has a Mac.
Let me know with any further information about the Indented Lists and the browser discrepancies!

Thank you,

Great thank you.

RE:
· Breadcrumbs - Not necessary – we made some changes and corrected the issue.

· Ident feature is still unavailable

· Tracking Analytics – Great – will this also be true for the Sitemap?

· Browser differences – yes, one line vs. two. Each browser was different – we only checked Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

Good Morning Michelle,

Can you send me a link to one of the pages that you are having an issue with the indent feature?

Can you clarify a little about what you mean by Tracking Analytics for the Sitemap?

I have made a to-do for the developer to fix this on Firefox and Safari.

Thank you,

Cody -

Here is one example - https://catholicfoundation.diocesanweb.org/endowments/

Once the site launches, will you enable the site map as well?

Thank you,
Michelle Mesiano
TO THE CLIENT Cody Armock, Web Content Specialist at Diocesan
Michelle,

I am so sorry, I understand now. I will make the to-do for the developer and yes, we can enable the sitemap on the site. I will have a page on there called sitemap that you can then link to from the menu or quick links or wherever you would like to have it.

Thank you,
