Homepage Video Link
Good morning,
Cody let me know that you had requested that the homepage video option also have a link option. We can most certainly accommodate this request. Before I can check with the developer to see if there will be any additional charge, I want to make sure I have the functionality correct.
Are you wanting to have the same options as the slider has (Title, description, button) OR are you wanting the entire video to function as the button (clicking anywhere on the video takes you to the URL you put in)?
Please let me know and I will talk to the developer and let you know of the cost, if any.

Due to everything going on right now, we are not ready to launch on April 6th and need to push that back – I will respond to that base camp question in a minute.
Before we launch though, you and Michelle had talked about the video on the slider being a link and clarifying the functionality on 3/19/2020 in order to tell us what the added cost would be if not included in our original packaging. We cannot find a resolution to that question and need to make a decision about that before saying yes – right now our budgets as a diocese have been cut by $2 million and there is no extra money anywhere -

The link option has already been added, free of charge, so that is something you do not have to worry about. I apologize for not notifying you.
When editing the homepage, you will see the area to upload your video and select a link for the entire video to link to.
Let me know if you have any questions or a different launch date in mind.

Hi Cody,
3 questions about the current layout of the site -
- We would like the Catholic Foundation Gala site to flow like our old site (pictured below), however, we’re running into a formatting issue on the new site.
We are currently using a table because it keeps everything in line on the web version (changes on a mobile device) but the lines are black – can we change the color/hide the gridlines? I tried using the columns but when I centered the pictures it bumped everything out of line. In order to stick with the old formatting, do you have any suggestions on the blocks available to make it look like the image above?
- We are populating our News sections, but the dates are not in order. For example: March 20, 2020 is before and after an April 7, 2020 post.
- There is a template on the backend of the dosp.org site (Template: Office), which allows quick link buttons to be added on the top right hand corner of the pages. Is it possible to request this feature as well?

It just hit me that we may not have solved the domain ownership/network solutions/launch.
Right now BlueHost is hosting the site. Do you have the access needed at this point for us to launch while we try to figure out how to transfer the ownership of the domain from the previous executive director to the Diocese so we don’t lose control of it again?
