Before April 15 Launch
Hello everyone,
I spoke with Meegan this morning concerning what was left for the website before launch and our new launch date of Wednesday, April 15, 2020.
1. Domain
Currently, your domain is owned by Diocese of St. Petersburg through their Network Solutions account. Do you plan on continuing your domain ownership through the Diocese? Who should we get in contact with regarding the domain DNS changes (name & email)?
Once I have this contact, I will send them over the launch instructions for Wednesday.
2. Office Page Template
You had let Cody know that you'd like the Office template to be replicated on the Foundation website.
Below, I have added the quote for updating the Office template to match Diocese of St. Petersburg's template with these features:
- Subtitle
- Quick Links
- News - Always "News" with link option
- Events - Always "Events with link option
- 2 custom buttons
- Feature Grid (Max of 9)
- Feature Panels
- "Supported by the Annual Pastoral Appeal" option
- Social Flocknote Embed (Subscribe bar)
- Social Media icons
Estimated Hours: 0.75
Rate: $70/hr (prorated)

3. Other Developer To-Dos
The developer will also be working on the following items today and tomorrow:
- Default button block styling will match "View All" button on homepage
- Update category posts archive ordering to go in newest to oldest posts
- Adding consistency menu to mobile menu

In reviewing your list, some of the items you are describing are already a part of what we have – for example, we already have the Feature Grid, we already have the social media. And we don’t need others – we are not funded by the Annual Pastoral Appeal and don’t need that added in. I think we need to have a call with Michelle, Cody, me and Veronica on the line to work this out before signing the order to add all of this.

Hi Meegan,
I will not be available for a meeting today, but Cody may be available. I am not sure if you want to postpone the launch until after this item is complete or launch tomorrow and make the decision later.
I will wait to send the launch instructions to Mark at the Diocese until we have a consensus on this.
As the last item, we are styling the button block to match the buttons on your homepage. The styling will match the Read More button under the posts.

Hi Meegan,
I've spoken with Cody and gotten things straightened out. I believe that I misunderstood the extent to which Michelle wanted the Office template duplicated.
Cody talked to Michelle and it will only be the right aligned buttons that the Office template needs.
As for launching, I have let Cody know that if we get approval on updating the Office template (or if no template is needed) by 9:00 am EST Wednesday, we should be able to proceed with launching the new website on Thursday, April 16. (A Thursday launch is provided that this fits into Mark Moffet's schedule.)
Cody is sending over the quote for approval now.
