Hi, Veronica:
Just checking in to see where we are with the design revision to our
homepage slider? I recall Kathleen had approved the change and the
additional cost to make that change. I wasn’t sure if you were still
waiting on us for something else? Let me know how we can proceed.
Thank you,

Good afternoon Brandon,
As an update, Ryan will be working on the development of the new slider styling tomorrow. He plans to have this completed and ready for usage by the end of the week.
Either Ryan or I will be reaching out to you when this is ready.
Let me know if there is anything else!

Good afternoon Brandon,
Ryan let me know that he completed the homepage slider styling update. Please note that you may have to hard refresh to the see the changes.
I will be out of the office tomorrow but have cc'd Ryan just in case you have any questions in the meantime.

Good morning, Veronica:
Thanks very much for the update and to Ryan for making that change. The revision to the homepage slider looks good, however I am wondering if there is a way to prevent the text and the button from being so far apart. See here: https://prnt.sc/xtbmjv
I think we’re okay if the text breaks to a second line, but having the button so far apart from the text could cause a visitor to miss it. Let me know what you suggest.

Good morning Brandon,
I've just sent this question over to Blake to see what his ideas are. We'll talk it through with Ryan and let you know what some options are.
I'll keep you posted!

Hi, Veronica,
I appreciate the follow up. If memory serves me right, the mockup that Kathleen signed off on looked correct and did not have that much padding between headline and button.
Let me know.

Hi Brandon,
In the mockups, we had anticipated longer titles and went through testing with shorter titles together now too.
Here is what we are thinking:
- The title is always left-aligned (as is currently)
- Set space between title container and button
Here are some visuals of how it would work:
Let me know what you think!
As a side note, Ryan will be out of the office Wednesday-Friday but mentioned that this change is a quick task.

Veronica,
I don’t think I like how the button shifts according to the headline width. Is there a way to lock the button in place, and if the text reaches the set container width for it to simply break to the next line? The position of the button in image #1 looks the best. What we want to make sure is that we do not have the large gap that is there now.

Brandon,
The current implementation has a fixed location for the button, as well as the text, with the primary issue being the variable gap between title and button.
If I am understanding correctly, are you saying you would prefer the button to still have a fixed location, and that location is simply closer to the center than the edge of the browser?
If so, we can then treat the text one of three ways.
1) Text left justified and starts at the same spot like these examples. The now closer button would then stop at the same spot and the gap would be determined by length of title. Longer titles would simply wrap if not enough room to fit on one line.
2) Text left justified and always a set distance away from the button, hugging next to the button if you will. Longer titles would still wrap.
3) Text right justified and always a set distance away from the button, hugging just like option #2. The difference being when text wraps the second line will be closer to the button that then start of the title.
Does that make any sense? Let me know.

Hi, Ryan:
Your Option #1 sounds more like what we may be looking for which will reduce the space between the button and the text, while keeping the button in the same spot and the text wrapping if it’s too long.
I suppose if it doesn’t fit the bill we could make adjustments, but I would go with #1 first and see if Kathleen approves.

Good morning Brandon,
I've made a to-do for Ryan so he can work on this when he is back in the office on Monday.
We'll send you a message once it's been completed so you and Kathleen can take a look at it and let us know what you think!

Good afternoon Brandon,
I came to check in on what you thought about the changes Ryan made Monday then realized that I never relayed Ryan's message. I apologize for the lapse in communication on my part. It has been a crazy week.
Seeing as Ryan has made the changes mentioned in option 1, do you have any questions or further concerns?
Just let us know,

Hi, Veronica:
I need to discuss the change with Kathleen and see if she approves. She has been dealing with some PR issues that recently came up so I have not had a chance to look it over with her. I will try to meet with her either today or tomorrow.

Brandon,
I am going through some old projects and came across your email to Veronica. Did you ever get a chance to go over the changes with Kathleen?

Brandon,
Thank you for the response back. I'm looking through Veronica's notes we have on the project and it appears everything has been completed. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
