PDS Training Class Scheduling & Calendar
I purchased, installed, and explored Modern Events Calendar.

So far, it does a real good job of setting up an event (or training). Customization is fairly reasonable, and overall very good. It's weakness seems to be the booking aspect of it. I have yet to find a way to turn off the Verification email that goes out (think of double opt-in, where you have to verify the class you just signed up for).
To illustrate, the user got 3 emails, all at once, after booking.
1) Verify your booking
2) Booking received/verified (not sure why this was auto-verified)
3) Booking confirmed (because I set auto confirmation for free events)
