Homepage Slider & Page Featured Image
Good Morning Randy,
We were finally able to get together and talk over the slider and page featured image with the developer and the designer. I have included screenshots with the current design first followed by what we propose. Our proposed fix would take about a half-hour and if approved, Veronica will send a quote out to you to approve.

Good morning Randy,
While Diocesan does offer free support for two weeks after launch, Cody received your voicemail request for these two items on April 23, with your launch date being March 31. These updates also deviate from your originally approved design (see here) and must be quoted as development support items.
Upon launching, you received an email titled "Website Launched" from Mary, our support specialist, with details regarding your post-launch support, including when paid support would begin and its rates. If you would like this message to be re-sent, please let me know.
I did go ahead and get in touch with our billing department and have confirmed that you have a remaining $1,941.20 web allowance that can be used to cover this support item at no additional charge to the parish.
Currently, the web allowance is being used to cover annual hosting fees ($300/yr, billed annually).
Please let me know if you have any other questions or changes in regard to billing.

I like the main pages smaller picture. I would like them all to be easy for us to find a picture that will fit the larger pictures on all the other pages are also stretched so we need them to be manageable also. Is it possible for you to send the first training we had

I want you to know that I understand your frustration with finding the correct image sizes. From my understanding, the homepage slider was easier to work with before removing the calendar, which is why Cody suggested going back to the original size and centering the slider. It would still change sizing slightly, but the main area of the image would remain the same across screen sizes and in a more "normal" landscape image size.
On inner pages, we suggest using images that are more of a background image, symbolic. If you are wanting more of a focal point image that can be visible, placing an image within the page content may work better (no resizing issues).
I'm going to talk to our designers and see if they have any other ideas for your inner page header images.
I apologize that this never came up or was never reviewed before launching your website. Our goal for your website is to make it easier, not more difficult, for you to use your website as a tool for evangelization and communication with your parishioners. If the images are key to this communication process, we want to ensure this area works as you are wanting to utilize it.
Since we are past the time in which this could have been updated without cost, I would like to speak to you on Monday to make sure that we are looking for a solution that is exactly what you want while also being cost-effective. This way, we get things right the first time and there are no unnecessary additional charges for the things that did not work or look as expected OR if things are not as expected, they are addressed and corrected within the same week.
