Logo Idea
Here is the first look at a logo idea for you!
The color I chose is a bit darker than the standard red from Adobe Illustrator, I figured it would be good to use a shade of red to help associate the idea of the pulse (heart) with fall and the changing leaf colors since you are in Northern Michigan! If its not sitting well with you we can look into something else but I think it will work great. The color can be carried into the site with a few other accents to help make the site stand out!

Hi Sam,
Father's gone and Karen and I think this looks too much like the Red Cross.
I googled heartbeat religious cross. I think this will give you idea of what Father was thinking.
Could you possibly incorporate the Michigan hand with a heartbeat and cross? We are at the tip of the Mitt.
Not asking for much am I? lol

Not at all! I can continue with the Michigan idea, that will tie everything together well I think! Look forward to a new one tomorrow!
Thanks for the feedback.

I'll wait to see graphic. Instead of "Cheboygan Catholic Community" I'd rather "The Catholic Community of Cheboygan, Pellston, and Riggsville " with bolder first letter of each city so that the "CPR" connection is evident?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Awesome! I can do that! Thanks for the change to the typography!

The burgundy here may be a bit dark. But this is what i have for the logo so far!
Sam,
Karen and I like and agree it's too dark.
Do you think people will correspond CPR without a heart in the logo?
Father mentioned a heart around the cross but that has been used a lot.

Well, if I can suggest to not include the heart, we are already using three different symbols throughout the logo and with the CPR idea being already a bit esoteric I think keeping it to the simple heart beat line will make the connection well enough while not screaming it right into the faces of the viewer. Sometimes having things be a bit less obvious is good.
That being said. I brightened up the color a bit, here is the results!

Here's another logo for you!
I found a way to get the heart in it without making it to overwhelming

Sam,
Can you do another logo with the lines off to the text? It's looking a little medical

I am going to move my comment over to the newer logo, it has some minor improvements that balance the logo out a bit but I have responses for both Fr. Duane's question and your question as well!
Thanks,

Hi Sam,
I'm sorry to keep bugging you with little tweaks. What I was trying to ask is if your are able to make the heart beat line on the right of the logo toward the text box be a little smaller or take it off?
I have a graphic designer in the family so I really do understand what were asking isn't always a simple click.

Good Morning Sam,
First, Father would like a cemeteries tab added to the website.
2nd, We have a pastoral meeting tonight and I would like to share the logo and the website homepage with the council. Is that possible?
