Good morning Amy,


I know it has been a while since the training and just wanted to check in on you and see if there was anything more you needed from us. As I mentioned several months ago, Diocesan does provide a second training before launch so that we can go over any issues you may be running into, including Google calendars. 

Additionally, if you have have noticed anything working incorrectly on the website, let us know because although we already have it on our pre-launch to-do list, you may know more through working with the website.

Hi Veronica,

Thank you so much for reaching out to me. I'm so sorry I haven't been more responsive. It's been overwhelmingly busy here, and it's just me. The last we talked, I believe you were going to work on getting our Google Calendar set up with the website and the color coding. I think I sent you the log in information to be able to do that, but I'm not sure. Is that something you still need? Also, I would like to go ahead and schedule the second training. Can we schedule it for Friday, October 26th?

I completely understand! I used to work in a parish office, so I know exactly how crazy things can be.

I recall trying to log in and not being able to since it required me to verify my account via text message. However, I know we did make sure the calendars on the website (see here) are the correct colors. We still need to add events to St. Mary & St. Michael, but if I can get into your calendar, I can take care of it. 

In fact, if you could please give me a call we could do it right away!
As for the training, that date works for me. What time is best for you? I am available for trainings to start between 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

There is also the "Join Us" button that would typically go to a page that describes how to register with the parish. Did you want us to help you create a page for this, or would you like this button to go somewhere else?

Hi Veronica,

I want to look at the page and then decide about a "Join Us" button. The problem is, I can't get logged in. When I go to champaigncatholics.diocesanweb.com/urbana (http://champaigncatholics.diocesanweb.com/urbana) half the time nothing loads and when it does load it wants me to sign in. However, the password doesn't work. And we just changed the password the day we talked to you on the phone. I just changed it again this morning, but it won't let me log in.

We don't need a JOIN button on the page. (Assuming that we can add one later ourselves if we decide to.) I am able to get logged in okay now and it's working well. We'd like to know how soon we can go live? (Father is getting twitchy and would like a date. 😀)

It can't be added by yourselves, but we can most definitely put one in at a later date. 

As for launching, the earliest we can do is Tuesday of next week. We will need to get in touch with Father Larry.
