Champaign County Cluster Website Developer
Hello all,
My name is Kyle Brown, and I am the web developer who will be working on your website! I am currently working on a backlog of sites to get through, but I will hopefully be able to begin working on your site next week or the following. I will keep you updated on my progress, and send you the link to the website once it is in a place where it can be shown.
Let me know if you have any questions about this process!

Hi Kyle,
What does a web developer do?
What does a web developer do?
Hi Amy,
The web developer is the person in charge of building your website based on the design that the designer creates for you. I will be creating the website from scratch, based on Sam’s proofs, over the next few weeks, as Veronica curates and organizes the website content. Once the initial framework of the site is built, I will send you a link to the site so you can see the progress as it is being built.
Once we reach the final stages of development, we’ll work with you to schedule a time for training on the new site. Any staff who you anticipate helping with the site is welcome to join. This involves a phone call and screen sharing, generally taking 1-2 hours depending on familiarity level. During this time we’ll go over the WordPress Dashboard and Editor and make sure you’re ready to maintain the content!
Hopefully this explains what I will be helping you with throughout this process. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks so much, now I understand!
Hello again Amy,
I just spoke with Kyle Brown, the developer, and he let me know that the website is at the point where you can take a look at it.
Here is the link to the development site: http://champaigncatholics.diocesanweb.com/
Of course, there are still many minor things that we are looking at and mobile responsiveness is something that we work on right before launch (so that we don't miss anything). The website is only at about 80-90% complete, so if you see anything that is missing or not functioning as you had planned, please let us know.
Additionally, as I mentioned in my other email, I will get back in touch with you at a later date in order to schedule a training for you and any other staff.
Have a wonderful day,
Veronica Alvarado

Hi Veronica,
I took a quick look at the page. Overall it looks very good. However, there are some things that are still incorrect and inconsistent. I'll be making a list as soon as I have time, along with any questions I have. Thanks.
