Updates on Changes

Hello  Michael,


This week we took a look at your edits and began making changes. The biggest one is for the Existing Funds page.

We added your message to the top, but also wanted to make sure it looked and functioned as originally intended. For example, we have added a Fund ID area for you to put in the Fund #. This can be found as as you edit each fund, near the bottom:

Additionally, we have made it so that the location will appear below the fund title, pulling from Locations:

If you'd like, you can begin going through the funds and making the appropriate changes. Also, take a look at the Existing Funds page to see how this information is now displayed.

Good morning Michael,


I wanted to clarify about the funds page. In a previous email, you had said the following:

As to you your question about the sorting by location. We can still sort by location as long as it all fits and still looks good. Otherwise we can eliminate it.
Please have the new Filter by Parish/School at the top of the options list just below the “Search for a Fund” option.

Are you meaning to say that you want the Existing Funds page to have the following, in this order:
  1. Search for a Fund
  2. Filter by Parish/School (previously titled "Filter by Beneficiary Type" but still pulling information from "beneficiary type")
  3. Filter by Fund Type
  4. Filter by Location
  5. Filter by Fund Categories
Please let me know if this is what you had in mind.

Also, can you please change the verbiage at the bottom of the individual fund “cards” to read “View this Fund” instead of “Give to this Fund”.

I am very pleased with how the fund filters are working and like the looks of the page.

I am discussing the website tomorrow with the full board and am very happy with everything.

Dear Veronica,

Can you please let me know when the following corrections will be made to our website?

1. The verbiage at the bottom of the individual fund “cards” needs to read “View this Fund” not “Give to this Fund”
2. The Logo at the top of each page needs to be moved back to the left. When you are in full screen mode, it looks awkward. It should auto adjust to the right when the screen size is reduced.
3. The Search feature needs to be the same as the Diocese of Venice website.

I would like to have the website live as soon as possible, but am waiting on these changes.

Our developer has moved the logo under the address, as we discussed, as well as changing the Existing Funds wording to "View This Fund."
