Website Proposal
Good morning Connie and RoryBeth,
Thank you for all of the feedback yesterday during our Deep Dive conversation. We were able to go over a lot of great information, and we are excited to work with you on your new website.
I have attached a copy of the proposal for your new website. The proposal is a full breakdown of the project. You are able to see each phase of the project, the time we determined it would take to complete each of the phases, as well as what the final cost would be. As Brian mentioned, the cost for the website creation will be covered. I have included a line indicating a full credit of the website project.
The last section of the proposal is our website hosting information. We had briefly discussed this in our initial conversation, but this is where we keep your website. When we host your website we monitor how many people are viewing the website (bandwidth), maintain security, and install any updates that your website needs.

We have our own domain, with storage I believe so I wanted to find out specifically your “Hosting” charge. Thank you.

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.
Your domains (grcathcem.org, .com, and .net) and the website itself each have their own, separate hosting (domain hosting and website hosting).
The domain name will be renewed annually, or in your case after 5 years. Emails (and their storage) are tied to the domain. For example, my email is asnodgrass@diocesan.com but my email and attachment storage is separate from the diocesan.com website.
The website will have its own hosting. When we host a website we will monitor security, perform backups in the event a website goes down and needs to be restored, how many users are visiting your website (bandwidth), how many videos and pictures along with the size of files (storage), and install any of the updates that WordPress makes available. These are all part of the $300/yr website hosting.
