Good Morning,


Now that we have gone over the training, I have attached a quick guide that should outline how to edit the website. Of course, we can go over things in depth at the second training as we near launch, but this should work as a quick reminder of how things work. The free image sites may be found under "Images" and HTML code information for Gravity Form descriptions may be found under Gravity Forms.

Remember, the weeks between the training and launch are SUPER IMPORTANT, as this is the time to ask questions and make changes on how things work. Once you are launched, most support calls will cost the standard support fee of $70/hr.

As you know, we are always here to help you and are more than happy to walk you through editing your website. However, changes to the actual functionality and design of your site are something that typically take more than a phone call and, quite often, an hour or more.

Free Support
Diocesan offers free support for items such as:
  • Forgotten passwords
  • Website does not seem to be showing up/working
  • "Broken" items that seem random and/or seem to be out of your control
  • "Broken" or trashed pages that you need help restoring
  • Other broken items that you cannot solve
Development Support
Diocesan charges a fee of $70/hr for development support. Development support refers to changes or additions to your website's functionality and trainings. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Adding/switching plugins (paid/pro plugin costs will be an added expense)
  • Changing design layout, colors, sizes, and fonts
  • Creating new user roles (special permissions/limitations)
  • Re-training on how things work and where things are edited
  • Full training with Diocesan for staff

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to call our web department and we will gladly assist you. Most of the small questions like "How do I edit a post?" or "Where events show up?" can be answered by going through the file I have attached, which you can download and share with other users.
