Cathedral School - Superior, WI

Website Proposal

Good afternoon Jessica,

Thank you for your patience as I worked to finalize the proposal for the new school website.

During our Deep Dive conversation, you chose the Lawrence Tampa design to serve as the foundation for your new website.  When we add your branding, colors, fonts, content, and the additions we discussed (curriculum page, welcome page, mega menu) you will have a website that is not only unique but showcases Cathedral School.

The attached proposal is broken down into design, build, and content management.  These 3 phases are the steps we take to create your new website.  This allows you to see how we got to our final cost.  I have also included the cost of hosting your new website.  Let me know if you have any questions.

If you would rather discuss the proposal over the phone versus via email, let me know.  We look forward to working with you!

Thank you!

Alan,

I am sorry for my late reply, yes we would like to move forward with this proposal. Do you need me to sign this and snail mail it back to you or do you have an electronic form you would like me to sign?

Jess

Hi Alan,

Quick question for you. We are looking for a way to stream Masses directly onto our website as Facebook is not uploading our audio at a high enough quality. Is this possible with our current www.superiorcatholics.org ?

Thank you,
Jessica

Hi Jessica,

While our websites do not offer the ability to host streaming directly from the website, we've had a lot of parishes utilitze YouTube (since Facebook may not have the quality you're looking for) then use the free version of Restream to display the livestream on their website.

I can have Mary, our support specialist, explain how Restream works a bit more if its something that you're interested in.

Thanks Veronica! Yes, I would love to hear a bit more about Restream. We would definitely have to push hard to get the 1,000 followers on YouTube needed to live stream as we are currently using a mobile device.

Could you call me please? Something has gone wonky with the bulletin page at www.superiorcatholics.org

Alan, I am a little confused. I received the following charge and one for adding Google calendar into the school website. I am fine with paying for the time taken, however I do believe these were both items that we had discussed in our initial walkthrough of the template. Shouldn't this be wrapped into the invoice we receive for the website? I find it strange that we received two partial bills for incidentals when we haven't received the final billing.

Thanks,
Jessica

Jessica,

Yes, they should be wrapped into the final invoice for the website. Please disregard that invoice and the other one that you mentioned. When the developer logged his time for this item he accidentally logged the time under our "support" category, which triggered the invoice email. I will talk with our billing department and let them know to void these two "support" invoices and that the time spent will be grouped into the final invoice for the website.
