Project Update
Good afternoon Josh,
It was wonderful to speak to you this afternoon. I pray I provided some further detail into the website process and a project update thus far.
I have also cc'd Kevin Raymond so we are all on the same page.
Here are the things we discussed:
1. Project Cost
In addition to adding you to Basecamp so you will receive our weekly* updates for the ongoing project cost breakdown, I have also attached the original, signed quote here:
*Weekly update emails are sent every week in which the project had a change in hours from the week before. Projects will not receive weekly updates if they are in the design queue, in the development queue, or waiting on the client to schedule training since there will be no change in project hours and cost.
2. Project Timeline
Since the design is beginning this week and you are no longer in the design queue, we are looking at 5-7 months (average) until launch.
This timeline is based on actual site averages and is heavily reliant on the client's response time in the design, content, and training phases of the project.
3. Deep Dive (pre-proposal) Meeting Notes
We do not share our Deep Dive notes by default, since they are mostly internal, but I see no harm and am happy to offer transparency into what we had discussed in order to reach our final quote and design direction.
Here is a copy of our meeting notes in which we reviewed several designs and made notes on what is important to the Cathedral from a design and identity standpoint, as well as content and features.
