Domain Transfer

Good afternoon Allie,

I received your email regarding the upcoming domain renewal.  We can get started and transfer your domain over to us.  Below are the steps that will help us transfer your domain.  If you have any questions, let me know.

During our Deep Dive conversation, you indicated that you would like your domain
to be transferred to Diocesan. The first step in this process is to provide us with one of the following:
  1. Domain login information
  2. Domain contact information
As we near your training and launch date, Diocesan will contact you (and your domain contact if Option 2 is chosen) to begin the transfer process and to provide more information on the next steps and any applicable instructions.

Domain Login Information
If you would like Diocesan to initiate the transfer for you, we ask that you please send us the following information:
  • Name of Hosting Company
  • Login URL
  • Username/Email
  • Password
Please note that once Diocesan initiates the transfer, we may need your domain account owner to forward an email that they will receive.

Domain Contact Information
If you have internal or contracted IT services that you would like us to direct in the transfer process, we ask that you please send us the following information:
  • Name of IT Company (if any)
  • Name of Individual
  • Email of Company/Individual
  • Phone Number of Company/Individual
  • Account Privileges (if any)
Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is someone else we should get in touch with. Otherwise, we look forward to gathering your domain information to help you keep your web services all in one, safe place.

Thank you!

FROM THE CLIENT Allie Wing, St. Brigid C & S, Dublin OH Staff
Hi Alan,

I just wanted to follow up on this. I am at home quarantined with my three young kids, so I am pushing back what I can until I can get back in the office. I likely won't be able to get to this for another week or so.

I do continue to make updates to both sites (now is a very busy time for the school and parish -- I'm continuing to update all the links and some text on many pages). The only slightly structural change I have made is removing the "HOME Learning" page from the school site. I unpublished it so the info is still archived, but we will not need that page going forward.

Thanks!
TO THE CLIENT Mary Goeldel, Diocesan
Hello Allie,
We can push back the domain transfer until you're back in the office - that's not a problem.    It doesn't appear that either domain is expiring anytime soon so we aren't in a time crunch - we just like to get started on the process as quickly as possible.

I'm sorry to hear you are quarantined - stay well!
