Logo Proof

Hi Luke,

I finished working on proof for the new logo for Blessed Sacrament.

I used Lato as the font choice here, the direction I went with for the updated icon required a less ornamented type face. Being a serif font, Cinzel didn't fit well with the icon style. After reviewing with another designer we felt the bold san-serif typeface worked a lot better.

Attached to the email is the design. Let me know what you think of it so far. I am Looking forward to hearing from you, have a great day and I will talk to you soon!

Hi Blake,

Thanks for the email!

I hate to be a pain, but we are already branding with the Cinzel Font- we like how it harkens back to the ancient church yet it is sort of modern.

I’ve been branding the parish with the attached headings for the bulletin and other flyers. Can we go for a more crisp look with the cinzel style?

Let me know- also there has been some resistence to having a new logo. We may need to proceed with just the website.

Overall I like the logo, but I’m looking for a more crisp look. Maybe skinnier, triangular sun rays that come to a point with a skinnier black outline on the chalice, cross, host, etc.

I’d still like to incorporate our unique steeple arch with the cross somehow- or is that something we can just do with the tab section on the website homepage we discussed?
