Website Updates
Hi Maria,
I am emailing you to let you know that our developer began working on your website on Monday, February 25. Today, he let me know that we should have something for you to see by the middle to end of next week. I know that there is no current website to go off of, but was there any additions or updates to the website content outline that you sent us? (see attached)
When we send you the link to the development site, we will also schedule a training.
After your training, there is a minimum of 2 weeks before launching the website. That way, you have the time to ask all questions that may arise while doing your own edits, and Diocesan has the time to go through your website's usability testing.
This means that depending on when you are available for training, you could be trained and launching in as little as 3 weeks.

Since the design portion of your website ran quite a bit longer than the estimated 2-3 weeks, it ended up pushing the site development, as well. However, you are our priority so we are working on content right now and will have something for you next week.

Good morning Maria,
When I spoke to you last week, you mentioned that Diocesan would be translating all of the content that you gave us. Upon looking at all of our consultation notes and the proposal/agreement, I couldn't find anything about Diocesan doing all content translations for you. This is something we have never done for another client, but I did talk to Blake to make sure. He said that this was never mentioned in the design phase, although the different translation options were discussed. For this reason, we offered and choose to go with PolyLang as a solution to custom Spanish translations rather than using the automatic Google Translate.
In addition, I did go ahead and input all of your Spanish translated content that you/Dan Fitzgerald shared with us here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dippGxfvei9wCGVP_eQh2rKba-801gWstsBqt4RrVdg/edit
If I were to do any translating of content left without a Spanish translation, it would be with Google Translate, which I can do as we have only used 3 of the allotted 25 hours for Content Migration.
Otherwise, if you or anyone else has any other content, they can most definitely send it my way to add to the website.
Also, I could've sworn that we had scheduled a training, but I can't find any notes about a date. To double check, have we set a date or time for the training?

Maria, could you talk to our web page designers and share with them a concern I have about my email for the webpage, right now I’m getting all kinds of junk mail in the email that I have now. Will that continue, because it wasn’t happening this bad before I was switched over to this cheap email server. If they say that it will, I need to get a new email. Thank you,

At the end of this week, we will have the developer add a script to your website that will essentially make all emails on the website unreadable by bots/spammers. This should help.
I will let you know once that is completed so that if Father continues getting a lot of spam emails, we can see how to proceed from there.
