I see that you approved Sam's design. I just wanted to take a moment to bring you up to speed where we stood on the project from an hour and financial perspective. Initially we had quoted a price of $4,550 (65 hours x $70hr) for website creation. We arrived at that price by breaking the web project down as follows:

Initially we had quoted a price of $4,550 (65 hours x $70hr) for website creation. We arrived at that price by breaking the web project down as follows:
- 20 hours for design
- 35 hours for the build process
- 10 hours for content migration (bringing your content over from the existing site and creation of new content)
Currently we've logged 26 hours for the design process. Which puts us a little over what we budgeted. Hopefully we can make up some time during the build and migration process. We've logged 2 hours on the content migration. This time will go up as Veronica works with you moving your content over and creating new content.
Looking at our current workload a developer will more than likely be assigned to your project the week of 7/2. At that time they will reach out to you, introducing themselves. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me.

I am a bit confused with the migration of content, as I had first stated that we did not want the same content from the wix site on the one that is now being developed. I am currently working on the new content, so any further migration is not necessary.

Good Morning Kayla,
I am the content strategist here at Diocesan. I know you had said that you did not want to move things over from the previous website, but content migration goes a little bit further than just copy and pasting information. It also covers content strategy, or ensuring your website functions the best way possible, specifically to your needs.
So far, the two hours is from internal meetings used to discuss what you, as the client, are looking for in a website not only right now, but future uses as well. All in all, we want to ensure sustainability for your website so that you are not in need of another website in the near future.
Moving forward, we will log correspondence discussing content, as well as putting in the content you send to me, as content migration.
