Project Update
Good afternoon Mary Beth and Dawn,
I hope you have been having a good week.
As we progress with your new website, we would like to give you an update on how the progress is going this week. Here are the three main stages of how your website is progressing.
- Design is 100% complete
- Development is 100% complete
- Content Migration is Paused for another week per conversation 6/13 w/ Arthur
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out at any time.
Thank you!

Thanks!
Good Afternoon All,
I have some good news! I was able to wrap up the project ahead of you much quicker than anticipated and will begin working on your site as of today. Alan will update you as the process moves forward but feel free to reply to this thread should you have any questions.

That's great news!
Should I make sure we don't add or change anything on our existing site while this is happening?
In general, that would be most ideal. But not a requirement. I will begin taking the content from your current site and add it to your new site this afternoon. We will notify you when complete. It will be late next week likely (estimated).
Thanks again for your patience, it is very much appreciated. Rest assured we will get you squared away and moving along the process as quickly as we can.

Alan, I think I have figured out a better way to organize our Mass times (slightly differently from our current site). I think it would be easier to process. Should I send it over or wait for migration to complete?
here is how it is on your current site I'm building:
Feel free to send over what you have in mind.
Feel free to send over what you have in mind.
This is what I was thinking.
ok, I will see what this looks like integrated on your site. . I will let you know when the site is complete. I am estimating middle to end of next week. I am about 25 percent done with your site.
Thank you,

I didn’t do the same spacing as the current site on my sample, but yes, the same spacing as you are doing.
Sounds good.
Ryan, the pastor doesn’t want COVID on the site. Can the rectangular goldish navigation block be a link to our calendar whiz instead of COVID-19 Updates?
Dawn,
The site is still being built. Those will all be changed when I get to that point in building the site. I will send you an email when things are complete. I know Danae shared the site link with you prior to content being created for design purposes so you may see things on the site now that wont be there when I finish. Covid updates is one of those things, so yes I will remove it. I haven't done anything with the homepage yet. There is a process to the content portion and I am working through that process now. The homepage is the last thing in that process, just for your peace of mind.
Until I notify you that the site is done please don't consider anything complete or "how it will be" when finished. We have to put filler content on the site prior to me stepping in and making the actual content so that the designers and developers can do their portion. Rest assured, there will be ample opportunity to make edits after the site is completed.
Hopefully this gives you a better idea of the process involved and the appearance of things as of now.
Thank you,
Ryan Hoch
