Domain Transfer

Hello Rebecca,

You have let us know that you would like your www.staugustinestedward.org domain to be transferred to Diocesan. 

There are two ways that we can go about doing this:
  1. Provide Diocesan with your domain login credentials and we will initiate the transfer OR
  2. Your current domain owner can initiate the transfer

1. Provide Diocesan with Login
Below are the things we need for the login:
  • Login URL
  • Username/email
  • Password
Once Diocesan has initiated the transfer, you will still need to send Diocesan the Authorization (EPP) code (emailed to domain owner).  If you believe that there will be an issue with this, please let us know. 

2. We Will Initiate Domain Transfer
  1. Unlock your domain 
  2. Send us the Authorization (EPP) Code
  3. Send to email webdepartment@diocesan.com
  4. Diocesan initiates transfer
  5. You confirm the transfer
  6. Transfer complete!

A quick question, Rebecca -
The transfer code will be emailed to the email on the account - it looks like it is jgust.ae@gmail.com.

Is that email still accessible by you?

Yes, just let me know when you send it and I can access his account for that info, as he will be on a retreat until Thursday.

Good morning, Rebecca -
I went ahead and requested the auth code from domain.com.

It's going to jgust.ae@gmail.com

The email should come in the next day or so - if you could forward it to
webdepartment@diocesan.com when you see it, I'd appreciate it!  No rush, it will just be an email with a short string of letters/numbers in it.

I've taken screenshots of all your settings just as a precaution, but the majority of the time a transfer like this goes thru with absolutely no issues, and no disruption to any service.  I'll let you know once it's completed, also.
