Design Notes / Client Needs

Both Sites

Hero Image area- They are keen on being able to change the image periodically. I spoke with them about the importance of only having high res images to keep the design
a s e t h i c, as well as keeping their welcoming feel.
*(Potential for a resolution limit for the area or other solutions we have to can keep them in line)

Featured Icon Buttons- It sounds like they are wanting to be able to change the icon & text in the future. Per our conversation as a group, Veronica is going to iron out how often then are going to want to change them to see if we are going to create a handful of custom icons, or use Font awesome.

News Area- The arrows on the design are so there is a scroll function that allows to show more news items. The client wanted to have 6 news items to be shown. We also discussed about using the functions we used for Saint Brigid - Johns creek, ie: Making Featured News Items => stay sticky and be the first item until they choose otherwise.

Accordion Pages- Sacred Heart - Southport

Language Selector- Spanish, Polish, Arabic, Farsi

Parish Site

Message of the Week Area- Just a simple text edit area that they can change week to week.

Homilies- When "listen now" is pressed takes you to a homilies page that has the recent homily audio.
*(I'm not sure if they are wanting there to be an archive of them as well)

Also, I wanted to note that the Daily Masses in the Mass Times bar will be slightly longer. (MW,Th,Fr at 8:30 am but Tuesday is in the evening.)
Is there a solution for this?

I suppose it would just be a little squished?
Blake Stapleton, Web Designer at Diocesan
We could also make the text a tad smaller to help everything fit so we don't make it look squished. I'd rather give it more breathing room if we can. What do you guys think?
