Temporary Landing Page

Good morning again Veronica & Father,

While I pray GoDaddy is able to resolve your hosting, I wanted to offer you a backup solution of setting up an editable, temporary landing page.

This solution (no cost to parish) would provide your parishioners and visitors with continued access to the bulletins, online giving, and any news you may want to share during this time of need since it is editable by you at any time.

Right now, Diocesan is offering to create, customize, and train you on your own temporary landing page for only $200.

WITH YOUR WEB ALLOWANCE, THE TEMPORARY WEBPAGE WOULD BE AT NO COST TO THE PARISH.

Your current remaining web allowance (after the new website cost is taken out) is still $1430-2130.

This one-time cost includes the following:
  • Customized Content
    • Your logo or temporary text logo
    • Custom colors to match your style/branding
    • Button that goes directly to your DiscoverMass bulletins page
    • Editable areas for you to update at any time (details below training point)
  • 1-hour of training on how to edit all content
    • Background Image
    • Buttons
    • Mass/Reconciliation/Adoration Times
    • Social Media Icons
    • Contact Information
  • Google Translate button for Spanish or any other language(s) you may need (as seen on Epiphany Cathedral)
Annual hosting cost and annual domain renewal cost will not be charged until the completion of your full, new website.

Here are some live examples of the temporary site that we have created:

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you'd for us to create this temporary landing page on Monday and schedule your training as soon as possible.

As I mentioned before, due to your web allowance, the parish will not have to pay any additional cost for the temporary website. Personally, I want to make sure that you have a platform for communication, especially for Holy Week, so if you have any questions, please just let me know. I have included my cell phone just in case you have any other questions today.

Hi Veronica,

Do we know what the issue is ? Although we have a credit and would not need to physically pay for a temporary landing page it will still get deducted from our credit so we “are” paying for it.

If it is not up by Monday yes, I say we would need this temporary page. Would the training for this page be additional to training for our NEW page once it’s finalized.

Warm blessings,

Veronica Matias

Hi Veronica,

I wanted to send a quick recap of our call:

Landing Page Timeline
  • Approval - By Noon Today
If you approve by noon today, we should be able to get the temporary page set up by this afternoon.
  • Link/Review - By End of Day Today
We would then send a link to the temporary page over to you by the end of the day for you to review and let us know of any changes.
  • Launch - Tomorrow
We would launch the landing page tomorrow, once you give the OK.
  • Training - Tomorrow
We will schedule a training session for tomorrow. I am currently available anytime between 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Landing Page Training
The 1 hour of training for the temporary landing page is not deducted from your new website's 4 hours of training.

GoDaddy
The next time you speak with GoDaddy, request your content files. I am not sure if they will comply but if so, this will save us pain when putting together the content for the new website.

Landing Page Content
The list below is the content I will need in order to set up the landing page:
  1. Primary Color
Please pick one of the colors below as your primary color
HEX #3C8333 (yellow green) is used on the current website's logo
HEX #13A084 (teal) is used on the current website's menu/hover
  2. Forms
Please send us any forms that you would like added as a button on your landing page.
  3. Buttons
Please send us any links (online giving, facebook live stream archive, school, etc) that you would like us to add as buttons.
  4. Logo
I know our designer is working on your new logo, but please let us know if you would like a text-only logo, or if you prefer to use the logo found on your current website.
  5. Social Media
Please send us any links to your social media and we will add them to the footer.

Please let me know if you have any other questions,

Looks great. I did notice it still said something about Orlando Fl under something...

Also I imagine you are still adding the letter in Spanish to the Hispanic tab...

I also don’t see a tab for the “Sunday mass” streaming videos.

  • I updated the Orlando, FL item, so that's all set.
  • Comunidad Hispana page is now complete.

As for the Masses, I'm having the developer finish styling out the accordion block, but I have created a Mass page. https://stannchurchwpb.diocesanweb.org/mass-videos/
I just wasn't sure what links to add to the page. Do you have a link to a video or the channel so I can add some various video links?

I have added the button for Sunday Mass Videos but the page still needs to be updated/populated.

I am currently uploading the Easter Letters, so those should be up shortly.

The Creole Services page has been updated, but may require a hard refresh so that it looks like the image below:

As for the myParish App, I have added the link but the developer will need to go in and add the myParish App icon in since it is not a basic social media logo that I can pull in.  I've added it as a to-do for him to work on tomorrow morning when he gets in at 8 am.

Hi Veronica - just emailed you back.

The only thing I notice that is missing is :

Button for Sunday Mass Videos

And the Easter Letters

*Also  at the bottom of the Creole page it has CCTN Orlando Fl information?

Are you able to add an icon for myParish app like the FB icon to download the myParish app or something similar.
TO THE CLIENT Veronica Alvarado, Project Manager at Diocesan
