G-Suite Information

Hi Dan,

I hope you are well! I just wanted to let you know that I have some information for you regarding G-Suite set-up.  Here is a resource for you to view: - https://www.google.com/nonprofits/offerings/apps-for-nonprofits.html

Here are some notes for you regarding Diocesan setting up your G-Suite:
  • We would create it for you.
  • We would go through the non-profit verification process (we would just need your info that shows proof of being a non-profit).
  • We would add new users.
  • We would provide you free training on how to add new users and Google Calendar.

Let me know if you have any questions or want to pursue set-up of G-Suite!

Hi, Veronica,

Just got back earlier this week and saw this email.

As far as G-Suite is concerned, we didn't see any compelling advantage
to it. I think, though, we decided to defer any decision on that until
we have the new site up and running. After that point, the team will
discuss whether or not G-Suite should be incorporated as a part of a
larger email conversion.

No worries, Dan. One thing that I do want to point out is that the current homepage design was built with a calendar on the page (see attached). If you will be removing the calendar from the website, then we will update the development site to reflect those changes. 

Of course, we can always add the Google Calendar back into the homepage if you decide to go with G Suite after launch. Since it would be post-launch, there may be a support cost that is incurred, but I can ask to see if we can build it into the site, ready to be unhidden whenever you are ready.
