Gmail Setup
Hello Travis,
I know it is pretty late in the day, but Google finally accepted our nonprofit application!
This means that today, I will be adding email accounts.
If you could please do me a favor and let the staff know that they will be receiving their an email (to their personal emails) that will give them a link to log in and set up their account.
This link will need to be opened within 24 hours. If this window is missed, we will have to re-create their account.

It only let me set up 10 accounts today and said I had to wait until tomorrow to do the rest, but here is who should have received an email today:

Good Morning Travis,
I added the remaining G Suite account this morning. Please be sure that everyone opens the emails and follows the setup/login link for each account. Here are the emails that should have received setup/login emails:
- travis.g.greer@gmail.com
- The account "website@standreparish.org" is set up as an admin account that has the ability to add, remove, or reset passwords for users.
- jmexican223@yahoo.com
- frontofficesab@yahoo.com
- krz1023@aol.com
- mariagvaldez@yahoo.com
If everyone has theirs set up by the end of the day, I think I will cover the basics of G Suite (email and calendar) in the training as well.
I was also curious to if there was going to be an email for the parish office. Moving from Yahoo to Google is actually very simple. I have the instructions on how to forward your Yahoo emails to a Google account, and another set of instructions on how to move your emails and contacts to Google.

Thanks! We had a meeting last night, so it was perfect timing to remind everyone to set it up in the 24 hour time slot.
I would cover the basics of the suite tomorrow in the training--the important folks will be there and have already set theirs up.
We currently have a parish office email, but didn't know if it would be necessary. The bookkeeper essentially uses the "office" email as the all parish business email and its through yahoo. Thoughts? -TG

Travis,
I will send a password reset link for "website@" to your email (travis.g.greer@gmail.com) and you can reset your password.
Once you have reset your password, you have the ability to reset the other accounts' passwords as well.
- Login to admin.google.com with the "website@standreparish.org" email
- Click "Users"
- Click on the desired user
- Click on the lock icon
- Enter desired password OR click "Auto-generate password" and follow prompts

Actually, try changing you "nickname" because for whatever reason, your nickname cannot be the same as your display name when you change a password.

It only gives me a screen to change the password and not the nickname.

Ok I am not sure why it was saying that you could not change your password, but I went in on my side and changed the password to:

If you need to reset the password, you can go to "Users" > "Your Profile" and scroll down to Account Management's New Password.
Click "Generate Password" and enter your password there.
