Website Proposal

Good afternoon Kelsey,

Thank you for taking the time to speak with us last week.  I appreciate your patience as I worked to finalize the proposal.  It is attached for you to review.

During the Deep Dive conversation, it was determined the Alphonsus Hybrid will be the foundation for your new website. After we apply your branding, fonts and colors, and content you will have a unique website that showcases St Alphonsus.

When it came to the "Latest News" section, you thought the staff wouldn't be able to keep up with this section.  After discussing with our developers, if we made any of the following changes there would be development cost involved.
  • Totally removing the section
  • Replace it with a Facebook Feed plugin (Plug in is also $98/yr)
  • Replacing the section with 1-2 image buttons

My sales team wanted to let me know the website project would have a $3,000 credit per the bulletin agreement.  However, any of the additional work would be left to the parish.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Good morning Kelsey,

I hope you had a great Easter.

It's been a few weeks since I sent you the proposal for a new website.  Have you had any discussions with the parish regarding the proposal?  If you or the parish have any questions or would like to schedule a conversation to go over any details, let me know.

Let me know what I can do to help.

Thank you!

Morning Alan - here is the email I received yesterday regarding the proposal/website. Let me know if you have answers before I speak with them. Thanks!

Kelsey,

Thank you for taking the time to go over this. Can we touch base tomorrow over the phone so I can get a better handle on explaining this to Father and determining what our next steps are?

Some questions that may be better to discuss over the phone:

Is there a screen I can see for Latest news? Pretty sure this is the weekly bulletin, but wanted to be sure.
I think we may be able to keep up with the updates, but need to know if it’s a daily or weekly updates.

Do we have a mock up of the website changes I can see?

Once we make a financial decision, what is our turnaround for completion?

The $3,000 credit is annual or just a one time credit?

Would you still be updating the website or would it be them updating our current one?
TO THE CLIENT Alan Snodgrass, Diocesan
Good morning Kelsey,

I apologize it took me a little extra time to get all of the answers to your questions, but I think I have them all.

1)  Latest news section.  Below is a screenshot of the section, followed by a screenshot of an interior page.  I have also included a screenshot of the bulletin interior page.  Let me know if you need more clarification.

2) When it comes to a mockup, we typically don't provide a mockup before the design process is underway.  If you were requesting a mock-up prior to a signed proposal and the design process, I could provide a proposal for a mock-up.

3) As of today, and based on our current queue, a ballpark timeline would be around 2-3 months.  When a signed proposal is returned we would be able to provide an updated and more precise timeline.

4) The website credit is a one-time credit.  Also, the website proposal is a one-time cost.  The only ongoing costs would be for website hosting, domain hosting, and if there were any plugins requested that had an annual charge.

5) The old website would be essentially turned off, and the new website takes over going forward.  Additionally, we do not provide any content updates.  The editing and adding new content would be up to the parish.

I hope this answers your questions.  Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you!
