Hello Kelsey,

My name is Danae Chudy and I am the web designer at Diocesan that will be working with you on your new web project. I am reaching out to let you know that we are nearly ready to begin the design process.

In order to begin the design process, we need from you:
  • A logo
  • Any details about your branding, (example: font names and colors used)
Also, I saw in our notes that you have two different options for the news feed. Do you know which one you'd rather go with?

Hey Danae!

I finally got word back from the parish. Let me know if you need anything else other than the below items.

* logo - they do not currently have one (it is a future project in which they hope to have one designed) ; currently they use the banner that is on the old website - could we use it while they figure out a new logo?
* colors: they want it to match the school's palette so the hex codes for that are (red #e1454b blue #2f3957 and the parish's specific gold #dbc0a5 ) - let me know if you need a different format RGB, etc.
* Replace the latest news with the FB Feed option

Thank you for your patience. Is there a "test" link I could view or a way to view the development of the site? I understand it's in progress but would like to see the design and layout progress so as to provide feedback if I see anything that may not be in the right place, etc.

How do we get the API Access Token for Facebook?

  1. Go to Graph API Explorer. https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer/
  2. In Facebook App, select an app used to obtain the access token.
  3. In User or Page, select User Token.
  4. Under Permissions, check ads_read .
  5. Click Generate Access Token. The box on top of the button is populated with the access token.
  6. Email us the token (:
